The ski road that leads to the CairnGorm lifts.
Start at the fork to Glenmore Lodge. Ski up the hill and then down.
GR NH 974 098 to 986 076 and then back down, OS Sheet 36.
The road is too steep beyond this point for a safe descent.

Road. Surface OK but bumpy in places.

Usually quiet but can be busy with ski lift traffic. Long steep descent.
FACILITIES
Tea shop and camp site by the turning to Glenmore Lodge.

Much used by the GB biathlon team. You can ski all the way from Aviemore.
