Access on foot from Ash Station. Walk away from the main road to a gate leading to the ranges. A notice gives access information. Follow the (very dirty) road, go over a gate/barrier, and you are in the ranges.

SURFACE/DESIGNATION
Private roads. Open to walkers, and presumably roller skiers, at certain times. Good quality tarmac roads, very quiet. Very gently undulating.
SAFETY DETAILS
Fine but watch for occasional Army landrovers.
